ACCESS AS NATURE INTENDED: TAYLORS BRIDGE RESILIENCY PROJECT ACCESS AS NATURE INTENDED: TAYLORS BRIDGE RESILIENCY PROJECT - This project involves the removal of existing Bridge 1-447 and construction of a new structure. The new structure will consist of multi-span concrete girders on newly placed wall pier foundations. The proposed bridge will be located slightly south of the existing alignment to avoid overhead utility lines. A full road closure with a posted detour is the preferred alternative for maintenance of traffic at this time. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer.
