Description:
RESILIENCY IMPROVEMENTS, KC, CYPRESS BRANCH RD. - This project focuses on addressing tidal flooding that frequently affects Cypress Branch Road in the area near Cypress Branch. The project will raise the low-lying section of the road by 1.75 feet, thereby reducing the frequency that the road is overtopped by water during tidal events. The reconstruction work will extend 420 feet south from Bridge 2-364B. Additionally, guardrails will be installed throughout the project area to protect wetlands and minimize any adverse environmental impacts. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer.
