The Improvements under this Contract consist of replacement of structurally deficient mast arms at six locations in Broward County which include: (1) SR A1A / North Ocean Boulevard North of NE 4th Street (86M057); (2) West Oakland Park Boulevard at SR 9/I-95 Exit 31B Westbound Off-Ramp (86M178); (3) SR 845 / Powerline Road at NW 40th Court (86M545); (4) SR 810 / West Hillsboro Boulevard East of NW 41st Way (86M500); (5) SR 810 / West Hillsboro Boulevard East of NW 43rd Avenue (86M498): and (6) SR A1A / North Ocean Drive at Commercial Boulevard (86M045). The scope of work also includes the installation of incidental pedestrian signals to meet ADA standards, the modification of existing controllers to accommodate the new mast arms and other additional materials (i.e. conduits, conductors, pull boxes, etc.) and incidental replacement of internally illuminated street signs.
