LETTING LOCATION: TPK HDQTRS POSTING DATES: 02/25/2020 and 03/10/2020 CONTRACT DAYS: 365 CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 14 The work specified in this contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to control weeds and grass by chemical vegetation control associated with roadway and bridge structures at various locations on Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike (SR 821), Milepost (MP) 0.0 to 46.5; Florida's Turnpike (SR 91), MP 0.0X to 100.0, and Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869), MP 0.0 to 22.5. Prior to beginning work under this Contract, the Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for approval, two copies of the Contractor's proposed plan and methods for performing the work, including a listing of equipment and personnel anticipated for use.The Contractor shall perform all work during day hours in accordance with the Turnpike Lane Closure Policy. No U-turns shall be permitted as a condition of this Contract, except at Service Plazas. Florida Department of Agriculture Commercial Applicator's license with the categories of licensure in Right-of-Way Pest Control and Aquatic Pest Control is required to bid for this contract. Submit a copy of current certificates with the bid proposal package. NO PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD FOR THIS PROJECT.
