LETTING LOCATION: 1074 HWY 90 CHIPLEY POSTING DATES: 07/31/2025 and 08/14/2025 CONTRACT DAYS: 880 CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 30 Days Flexible The work under this District Contract consists of providing the labor, material, and equipment necessary to complete the landscaping project located along SR 390 (St Andrews Blvd) from CR 2341 (Jenks Ave) to E of SR 77 (Ohio Ave) in Bay County. Details of this project are shown in the Contract Plans. A total of 150 Contract days will be allowed for the installation period and 730 Contract days will be allowed for the establishment period. This is a Lump Sum Contract with only one pay item listed in the Contract. All references to payment under individual pay item numbers, regardless of where those references are contained in the Contract Documents or when in time any such pay item reference is incorporated in the Contract Documents, are superseded by the pay item references in this Special Provision. Payment for all work in this Contract will be made under: Item No. 999-2 Lump Sum Contract - LS Pay adjustments as shown in the Contract Documents, regardless of where those pay adjustments are referenced, shall not apply, except as provided for in 9-2 Scope of Payments. Contractor Experience in Landscaping (Form 850-070-09) and Business Development Initiative (BDI) Reference Sheet (Form 275-000-02) are required to be submitted with bid. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE -- Bidders must be a "Small Business" as defined by FDOT. Small business size standards can be found at https://www.fdot.gov/equalopportunity/bdi.shtm. Bidders must complete and submit the Small Business Affidavit (Form No. 275-000-01) for approval prior to receipt of bid documents. The form may be accessed at https://www.fdot.gov/equalopportunity/bdi.shtm It is only necessary to submit the Small Business Affidavit (SBA) form once per year. Send a completed and notarized affidavit as an attachment to SmallBusiness@dot.state.fl.us Bidders must submit the BDI Reference Sheet (Form No. 275-000-02) with the bid unless bidder is prequalified in the project's major work type, per Rule 14-22, Florida Administrative Code.
