ATTENDANCE AT A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE IS REQUIRED TO BID ON THIS WORK. THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2025, AT 11:00 A.M. AT THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, TURNPIKE HEADQUARTERS COMPLEX, BUILDING 5315, FIRST FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM 1054, LOCATED AT THE NORTH END OF THE TURKEY LAKE SERVICE PLAZA, FLORIDA'S TURNPIKE, MILEPOST 263.0. A NON-MANDATORY SITE VISIT WILL FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE. The Bidder (Prime Contractor) shall be currently licensed and hold a certification or registration issued by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board as a Roofing Contractor or General Contractor in strict accordance with Chapter 489, Florida Statutes. If the awarded contractor is a General Contractor, the roofing work shall be performed by a licensed Roofing Contractor.
