LETTING LOCATION: 1074 HWY 90 POSTING DATES: 01/30/2025 and 02/13/2025 CONTRACT DAYS: CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 15 DAYS The improvements under this Work Document-Driven Contract consist of the placement of Bank and Shore Rubble as well as Ditch Lining Rubble along various roadways in Walton County. This rubble will be used to fill, re-contour and restore eroded slope and ditch bottoms. Periodic lane closures will be required. Removal and replacement of guardrail may be necessary to accomplish dumping and spreading of rubble. All guardrail to be replaced at the end of each workday. Mobilization, Maintenance of Traffic, and removal & replacement of guardrail shall be incidental to the pay items listed. This Contract has a budgetary estimate of $700,000.00. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder, however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work.
