Description:
Improvements under this District Contract consist of bridge repair and rehabilitation on SR30 (US 98) over Apalachicola River Bridge No. 490031. Work includes joint replacements, bridge painting, fender repair as well as barrier wall repair, and any additional work to rehabilitate Bridge No. 490031. All work is to be done in Franklin County. PRE-QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO BID ON THIS PROJECT Marine General Liability Insurance as referenced in Section 7-13.5 of the FDOT Standard Specifications may be required if any work under this Contract is performed using vessel(s)*. Prior to the Contract execution, Contractor shall provide written certification to the Department if no vessel(s) will be used for the work. * Vessel: a watercraft or other artificial contrivance, whether motorized or non-motorized, used to perform some or all of the work, as well as any incidental work related to the project, which includes, but is not limited to, barges, dredges, mobile offshore drilling units, floating cranes, tugboats, ferries, and any watercraft used to transport construction workers, materials, or equipment at the project.
