10.49 mi of concrete reconstruction, concrete pavement repairs, interchange reconfiguration, concrete inlay, drainage, traffic signal upgrades, signing, freeway lighting, guardrail, ITS, landscaping, noise wall, pavement markings and rehabilitation of 24 structures on I-94 from Wayne Road to east of Greenfield Road and M-39 from I-94 to Outer Drive in the cities of Romulus, Taylor, Allen Park, Dearborn Heights, Dearborn, and Melvindale, Wayne County. This project is an Alternate Pavement Bid project. Alternate 1 (Section 2) is a Hot Mix Asphalt Alternate with 16 inch OGDC. Alternate 2 (Section 3) is a Hot Mix Asphalt Alternate with 6 inch CTPB and 10 inch OGDC. Alternate 3 (Section 4) is a Concrete Alternate with 16 inch OGDC. Alternate 4 (Section 5) is a Concrete Alternate with 6 inch CTPB and 10 inch OGDC. This project includes two 5 year materials and workmanship pavement warranties, a 2 year concrete surface warranty, a 5 year epoxy performance warranty and a 2 year bridge coating warranty. ** 364729 B or 364729 Cb or 364729 Ea **In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications Ea and either B or Cb. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors.
