US 160 PAGOSA RECONSTRUCT This project is located on US 160 in Archuleta countywithin the town of Pagosa Springs. The approximatemileposts are between 142.84 and 143.97. The project scopeof work involves a lane diet from 3 lanes to 2 lanes forthe majority of the length. The pavement design willreplace the existing existing bituminous roadway with 9" ofconcrete. It also includes several raised medians,rectangular rapid flashing beacons, ADA improvements,drainage improvements, and replaces curb & gutter, andsidewalks. Subsurface utilities to be replaced or adjustedinclude existing sanitary sewer, storm sewer, gas lines,fiber optic, and water lines. Existing geothermal lineswill be relocated or adjusted as necessary. Undergroundelectrical conduit will be installed to power multiplepedestrian and intersection luminaires. The project alsoincludes approximated 0.22 miles of mill and fill HMAreplacement at the west end of the project. The projectalso includes intersections and ADA improvements at theHarman Road Intersection from MP 140.7 to 141. A virtualmandatory pre-bid conference will be held on October 11that 10 am.
