Project details include replacing the existing US 6 and Wadsworth cloverleaf interchange with a tight diamond with loop design; reconstructing and replacing the bridge over Wadsworth and the McIntyre culvert; and lengthening all entrance and exit ramps. The project will also connect the existing six-lane roadway section located north of 8th Avenue and south of 4th Avenue, in each direction, and construct an approximately 10-foot multi-use path on both sides of Wadsworth. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Friday May 29, 2026 beginning at 09:00 at CDOT Headquarters (2829 W. Howard Pl. Denver, CO 80204) in Room 159. In-person attendees should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the meeting start time. Virtual attendees can join at meet.google.com/xzg-keob-bhk and must provide their full contact information to the meeting host in order to have their attendance recorded. The meeting will provide a brief overview of the project and answer questions from prospective bidders. Bids will be accepted only from pre-qualified bidders who attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting.
