MALTA - SOUTH The Malta ? South project is the major rehabilitation of 9.6 miles of US Highway 191 (N-61) in Phillips County. The project begins approximately 9.5 miles south of Malta at Reference Post 147.4, just south of S Alkali Creek Road and extends north for 9.6 miles to the intersection of US 191 and 9th Street at Reference Post 157.0. The roadway surface will be rehabilitated or reconstructed to current design standards, including centerline and shoulder rumble strips, new and lengthened drainage structures, signing, and pavement markings
