36B: LYONS SOUTH There are safety concerns along this corridor due to the high volume of bicycle crashes. This project aims to improve both the quality of the roadway surface and the safety along the US 36 corridor between Boulder, Colorado and Lyons, Colorado. HMA removal and paving are key items in this project, as one main aspect of the scope is roadway resurfacing.There are also proposed signing and striping improvements throughout the corridor along with two minor shoulder widening areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, the following items: embankment R40, ABC class 6, removal and placement of pipes (CSP & RCP respectively).
