Description:
TWO MEDICINE RIVER BRIDGE Rehabilitation of the Two Medicine River bridge that carries US-2 over the Two Medicine River in Glacier County. The scope of work includes epoxy crack injection, the addition of external post-tensioning and Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) for strengthening the main spans. The rehabilitation work also includes milling and placing a Polyester Polymer Concrete (PPC) overlay on the main spans, jacking the structure at Abutment No. 1 and rehabilitating the disc bearings, and other incidental work. Roadway work is limited to reconstruction of the bridge end backfill and restoring pavement disrupted with the structure rehabilitation at Abutment 1.
