US550 MP 117.28-126.06 This project includes safety and operational improvements along the 8.7-mile segment of US 550 Corridor that will increase the level of service and improve safety for the traveling public. The improvements include the installation of deer fence, game ramps, deer guards and gates; widening of US 550 for deceleration/acceleration lanes, left turn lanes, passing lanes; re-alignment of Trout Road, Solar Road, Racine Road, closure of existing accesses, and extending fence between US 550 and the Frontage Road. A mandatory in person pre-bid conference will be held on 11/1/2022 at 9:00 AM in the Montrose Conference Room, 2424 N. Townsend Avenue, Montrose, Colorado 81401.This conference will present a brief overview of the project and answer questions from prospective bidders. Bids will be accepted only from pre-qualified bidders who attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
