HOUSTON, TX — Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) announces that Board Certified Construction Attorney and Registered Architect Denis Ducran has been promoted to Partner. He formerly held the position of Senior Counsel.

Ducran is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a Registered Architect. He works closely with general contractors, owners, architects and subcontractors to provide practical counsel regarding the avoidance and resolution of disputes on construction projects.
Ducran offers industry experience in preparing and negotiating contracts, arbitration and mediation of construction disputes. A skilled risk manager and legal advisor, he offers experience in contract risk assessment for major construction projects, including preparing and negotiating contracts and implementing solutions to limit legal and financial exposure.
Active in the community, Ducran is an Industry Advisory Board member at the University of Houston’s Department of Construction Management, where he also teaches construction law and ethics in both fall and spring semesters. He is frequently called upon to speak publicly and lead presentations on a variety of construction law topics across the U.S.
Ducran earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston.
