SAN ANTONIO, TX — HOLT CAT, an authorized Caterpillar heavy equipment and engine dealer for 118 counties in South, Central, North, and East Texas, celebrated the grand opening of a facility in Waxahachie, Texas.

The new facility fills a gap in a location south of Dallas, Texas, and continues HOLT CAT’s strategic expansion across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, a region experiencing growing industrial demand. HOLT CAT opened a new, 79,000-square-foot facility in Anna, Texas, in November 2025.

“We are proud to unveil our newest HOLT CAT location and join the business community in Waxahachie,” said Peter J. Holt, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of HOLT Group. “This comprehensive, state-of-the-art facility expands our presence in North Texas and allows us to serve our customers with the equipment and support they need to help their businesses grow.”

The new location will consist of a 4,943-square-foot sales office, an 8,966-square-foot parts warehouse, and a shop with 10 service bays across 16,564 square feet. The parts warehouse will be overseen by Luis Huerta, who joined HOLT CAT almost 10 years ago while enrolled in Dubiski Career High School’s welding program.

“I look forward to being that same source of opportunity for the Waxahachie community by training a strong local team and being a reliable partner our customers can count on,” Huerta said.

The Waxahachie location sells, services, and rents heavy equipment, trucks and trailers, engines, and generators for construction, earthmoving, mining, industrial, petroleum, and agriculture. HOLT CAT also sells Cat machine, engine, truck, and generator parts in the Waxahachie area.

Driven by population and business growth, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is one of the nation’s fastest-growing metros, according to U.S. Census Bureau data, driving the growth of nearby cities.

The celebration took place at the new facility, and speakers included Peter J. Holt and J.K. Baxter. A ribbon cutting was led by the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce.
