FRISCO, TX — Joined by developer The Mix Partners, City of Frisco officials, and local community leaders, AECOM Hunt recently broke ground on The Mix, a mixed-use development in the North Platinum Corridor. The project, which will total 112 acres, will welcome numerous new businesses to Frisco, Texas, helping drive regional economic growth and creating job opportunities for years to come.
The event marked the start of Phase l of the project, which will include the demolition and grading of a 28-acre project site on the north end of the development, followed by the installation of new utilities and fire lanes. The first phase of The Mix includes over 100,000 square feet of upscale retail, 114,000 square feet of medical office, and 635 units of residential space.

When completed, The Mix will include:
- 8-acre central park with event lawn and performance pavilion, playgrounds, and promenades
- Over 16 acres of green open space
- A community club
- An upscale grocery store
- New townhomes and high-end residential apartment units totaling more than 3 million square feet
- A medical office complex
- An underground parking garage with 3,000 spaces
- 375,000 square feet of upscale retail space
- Over 2 million square feet of office space
- Two hotels
