AMARILLO, TX — Founder Ryan Huseman’s vision to build Forté Structural Engineering into an independent structural engineering practice in West Texas took another step forward with the addition of Wesley Huseman, PE. Wesley brings over a decade of technical expertise as a structural engineering leader.
With Wesley’s arrival, Forté bolsters its ability to serve a growing client base across Amarillo, Midland-Odessa, Lubbock, and surrounding markets. The firm is also laying the groundwork for further geographic expansion.
“From the beginning, our mission has been to provide structural engineering excellence to our clients and to become the go-to firm of our type in West Texas,” Ryan said. “Bringing Wesley on board strengthens our ability to deliver on this vision. His technical skills and project experience are a great fit for the culture and brand that we’ve built here at Forté.”

He began his career at Pharis Structural Engineers in Amarillo, Texas, where he led and contributed to projects ranging from retail and medical facilities to educational buildings and commercial spaces. His recent work includes convenience store locations in Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas, as well as a number of health care facility projects.
“When you talk with Ryan about Forté, his passion for the firm and his excitement about the future are palpable and infectious,” Wesley said. “I’m excited to be part of a team that is growing and forward-looking, and it really is a great place to work. I humbly wanted to be a part of this business and to contribute to its growing reputation and portfolio of outstanding projects.”
