LUBBOCK, TX — Ferrovial, through its subsidiary Webber, has been awarded two construction projects in Texas worth nearly $100 million. The projects include:
The team will make $68.4 million in improvements to State Loop 360 through a grade separation at a critical intersection and the widening of the corridor. The project will also reconfigure RM 2222 at SL 360 into a diverging diamond interchange, improving traffic flow and reducing congestion. Construction will begin in April. Key project elements include:
- Earthwork: 275,474 cubic yards
- Rock nail anchors: 66,646 linear feet
- Three bridges
- Storm sewer: 5,353 linear feet
- 15 MSE retaining walls: 49,892 square feet
The $26 million project includes completing the partially constructed U.S. 87/FM 41 interchange in Lubbock. Scope also includes conducting a comprehensive existing conditions survey, completing MSE walls, installing beams and deck panels, and placing the deck and cast-in-place barrier walls. Construction will begin in April.
