Dallas Picks Schlosser for DART Board
Schlosser, who will represent the City of Dallas, has been with Asurion for over 20 years and focuses on new business opportunities in North and South America. The company is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and has more than 18,000 employees worldwide. During his years at Asurion, he has played key roles expanding the company’s business into new industries, channels, and geographies.
He started his career at The Walt Disney Company and later held executive roles with a division of Time Warner and at Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems (now AT&T).
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Schlosser is active in numerous philanthropic and civic endeavors including The Dallas Assembly, Dallas Breakfast Group, Dallas Friday Group, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Annette Strauss Center for Civic Life at UT Austin. He is the immediate past President of Temple Shalom in North Dallas.
Schlosser previously served on the Dallas Park & Recreation Board, and Chair of the Dallas Municipal Library Board.
