HOUSTON, TX — Manhattan Construction Company announces the promotion of Raylena Browning to Senior Vice President, where she will oversee preconstruction and business development across the organization. Browning previously served as Vice President of Preconstruction Services.
In her expanded role, Browning will continue to guide strategic preconstruction efforts while strengthening client relationships and supporting long-term growth initiatives. She has more than two decades of construction industry experience and has managed preconstruction and client engagement for more than 50 contracts totaling more than $4 billion in construction value.

Beyond her project experience, Browning has advocated for the importance of mentorship, continuous learning, and stepping into leadership opportunities in the industry. She conceived and founded the BuildHER network, Manhattan’s internal network that supports education, mentorship, and engagement for its female workforce. She also previously served as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston’s construction management department.
Browning holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management from the University of Houston and maintains several professional credentials, including Associate Design-Build Professional, LEED AP BD+C, and OSHA 30-Hour Certification. She is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council Houston Chapter and was a 2020 Luna Business Advocate of the Year nominee.
