SAN ANTONIO, TX — Sundt Construction, Inc. has added Samantha Hopkins as a Proposal Specialist to its San Antonio office and Joseph Strub as Preconstruction Project Manager to its Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Hopkins brings over 10 years of marketing and proposal-related experience ranging from Senior Marketing Coordinator to Director of Marketing and Communications. She has been responsible for developing statements of qualifications, managing the overall pursuit process and assisting with strategic planning efforts to identify clients. Hopkins earned her bachelor’s degree in speech communication with a minor in English from Texas A&M University in College Station.

“She [Hopkins] brings extensive knowledge in the pursuit process and knows how to best support our business development teams and promote Sundt’s capabilities,” said Proposal Manager Dustin Hicks.

Prior to joining Sundt’s Texas District, Strub served as a Chief Estimator, Director of Preconstruction, Project Manager, Estimator and Project Engineer. As Preconstruction Project Manager, he brings experience in budget management, continuous cost modeling, LEAN integration, Target Value Design and leadership in design management throughout preconstruction. Strub’s project sector experience includes hospitals, office buildings, flight training facilities, higher education, hospitality and museums.

Strub graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering and is a LEED Accredited Professional and is OSHA 30 certified.
