Widacki has 36 years of experience managing the design and construction of municipal infrastructure projects. His expertise includes project planning, right-of-way acquisition, utility coordination, construction administration, engineering project management, as well as roadway, drainage, and water quality design.
Previously, he worked for national consulting engineering firms in various roles such as Design Engineer, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Division Manager, and Office Manager. His experience also includes serving the City of Kyle as a City Engineer, where he led the development of the city's 2013 Road Bond Referendum. Prior to that, he served the City of San Marcos as a Project Manager.
His portfolio includes many projects throughout Texas, including: Dacy Lane Route Study and Goforth to Bebee Road Improvements for Hays County and the City of Kyle; Lakeline Boulevard Extension from Buttercup Creek Boulevard to Ranch to Market Road 1431 for the City of Cedar Park; and US 183 at 183A Intersection Improvements, which realigned the intersection to accommodate future main lane improvements to 183A in the Leander area.
Widacki holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas. He is a member of the American Public Works Association and the Austin Contractors and Engineer’s Association.
