American Constructors' Clay Shoot Raises Record Donation for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area
“American Constructors would like to sincerely thank everyone who has made this donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area a possibility,” said American Constructors CEO Marty Burger. “This event is one we eagerly await every year — an afternoon of fun and community gathering in support of the next generation of young leaders. BGCAA is not only a partner of our company but a driving factor of the American Constructors Foundation. We look forward to seeing you again in fall 2023.”
The Cedar Park-based construction company visited BGCAA for a special check presentation and to host an afternoon of team-building activities for club kids to spark their creativity and immerse them in a teamwork setting.
With 17 locations across Greater Austin, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area offers support by providing resources like internet access and technology, mentors, and nutritious meals. BGCAA has over 6,000 registered members who call the clubs home in addition to thousands of youth who engage with them annually, making them a pillar in Central Texas for youth empowerment.
“The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area along with American Constructors have been vital partners in serving the youth of the Austin area through quality out-of-school time programming,” said BGCAA’s CEO Gordon Butler. “American Constructors has invested their time and resources to ensure that the opportunity gap that exists for our youth is bridged in a meaningful and substantial way. BGCAA is grateful for our collaboration with American Constructors, and we look forward to their continued support.”
