BGE Engineers to Present at Upcoming 2020 Texas Water Conference
The presentation will cover a tool they created for the North Fort Bend Water Authority that helped to complete the project successfully. It is used to visually communicate the impact of different decisions and allow easy customization to evaluate various future scenarios.
Frankovich, a first-time presenter at Texas Water, is a Professional Engineer in the Public Works Department at BGE and has been with the company for more than two years.
“I feel honored to have the opportunity to speak about an idea we implemented with success for our client. I’m looking forward to sharing the tool, as I believe it’s something that could help other entities,” Frankovich said.
Her co-presenter, Kovar, is a Sr. Project Manager in the Public Works Department and has been with the company for 16 years. As a leader, she is most excited about Frankovich’s success and sharing ideas with others.
“I’m looking forward to presenting this with Julia. She put a lot of work into this tool, and this is her first time presenting at Texas Water,” Kovar said. “I think it’s great that we are getting to share new ways to use simpler technology to relay our results and message, and Texas Water is always a great venue to share ideas.”
The 2020 Texas Water Convention will take place in Fort Worth from March 31 to April 3.
