Since joining Burns & McDonnell in 2000, Xi has worked primarily with clients in the power transmission and distribution sector, taking on roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President responsible for the Southcentral region’s Transmission & Distribution and Environmental groups of Burns & McDonnell, as well as the regional section of 1898 & Co., the business and technology consultancy that is part of Burns & McDonnell.

Xi holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wuhan in Wuhan, China; a master’s degree in electrical engineering from EPRI China in Beijing, China; and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and Kansas.
