The Balfour Beatty team will deliver improvements to the existing four-lane, undivided rural roadway including widening the travel lanes from 11 feet to 12 feet in each direction and adding an additional 14-foot travel lane in each direction. The team will also construct a 16-foot continuous center turn lane and continuous sidewalks in each direction throughout the project limits.

Balfour Beatty has partnered with TxDOT’s Houston District to deliver complex highway and bridge projects in Texas including the Interstate Highway (IH) 10 Elysian Viaduct Bridge, IH 45 at IH 10, IH 10 at Studemont, and IH 10 at Washington.
Construction will begin in early 2024 with an expected completion in 2027.
