HOUSTON, TX — Neel-Schaffer, Inc., announces that Manwar Hossain, PE, CFM, has joined the firm and will serve as the Senior Engineer Manager and Hydraulics and Hydrology (H&H) Discipline Leader for the firm’s Houston office.
Hossain has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of engineering disciplines, including transportation design-build projects, basin scale hydrology and hydraulics, transportation drainage, land development, storm water management, water supply, water quality, and groundwater analysis.
“We are extremely pleased that Manwar will be joining our firm and leading our Houston office,” said Jerry Trumps, Executive Vice President for Neel-Schaffer’s Southwest Region. “His vast experience in project management of transportation design-build projects and particular expertise in H&H projects in Texas and beyond will be a great asset as we manage a myriad of current projects and look to grow our client base in Texas.”
Hossain is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and a Certified Floodplain Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Bangladesh Agricultural University and a Master of Engineering with a hydraulic-land and water development emphasis, from the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in The Netherlands.
