ROUND ROCK, TX — Ascension Seton Williamson announces the opening of its new patient tower, a $230 million investment designed to meet the needs of Williamson County, one of the fastest-growing regions in Central Texas. Brasfield & Gorrie served as general contractor.

Key highlights of the new patient tower include:
- 96 new inpatient beds, with capacity to support future growth as community needs evolve
- A new 10-bed Clinical Decision Unit to support observation care and help patients transition to the next step in their care
- A new cardiac catheterization lab for specialized cardiovascular services
- Two new operating suites to reduce wait times and increase surgical capacity
- Additional CT, MRI, and X-ray capabilities
- A 33,000-square-foot expansion within the Medical Office Building, creating new space for hospital-based outpatient departments (such as cardiac rehab, pediatric rehab, and a lymphedema clinic) and upgraded cardiology offices
