Herrin to Lead TDIndustries’ VDC, TDManufacturing Groups
Herrin joined TD as an Assistant Project Manager 24 years ago and was most recently the Senior Vice President of TD’s Houston New Construction team. She is also a member of TD’s Senior Leadership Team and has chaired TD’s Construction Leadership Forum. She serves as Co-Leader of TD’s research and development program and is the Captain of TD's Innovation Forum.
TD’s VDC team leverages building models to streamline all phases of construction from estimating through manufacture and installation. TDManufacturing supports TD’s prefabrication and modularization efforts.
“I am excited for Randee and the opportunity we have with such a strong strategic mind working toward our corporate objectives and beyond,” CEO Harold MacDowell said. “In today’s construction organizations, VDC and Manufacturing departments are critical components that can help drive new products and services. By consolidating these two departments under one leader, TD will be better positioned to progress toward the development of an innovation-oriented culture that drives change throughout our business.”
Outside TD, Herrin had previously served on the board of Women Contractors Association and Associated Builders and Contractors of Houston. She also led TD’s initial effort to bring women into the trades through our partnership with The United Way of Houston’s THRIVE program. Currently, Herrin serves on PlanGrid’s Customer Advisory Board; the Texas Tech University College of Architecture Design Leadership Alliance Dean's Circle; and the Associated General Contractors Executive Roundtable 2 in Houston.
