“We are proud to continue our long partnership with DFW to realize its upcoming $5 billion in preapproved capital projects, along with future terminal development endeavors to achieve its vision of accommodating 100 million annual passengers by the end of the decade,” said Chris Price, HNTB Interim North Texas Office Leader and Senior Vice President. “These projects will create economic opportunities as well as enhance the level of customer experience and maintain operational safety.”
HNTB will oversee vertical construction projects and manage terminal capacity, expansion, and development programs, notably including the first phase of Terminal F. The PM/CM team will oversee comprehensive services across all project phases, from preliminary design and cost estimation to procurement, preconstruction, construction management, commissioning, facility activation, and project closeout.
Since 2016, HNTB has served as facilities program manager/construction manager partnering with DFW on a range of projects that have utilized different delivery approaches to improve operations, set new standards, and enhance the passenger journey. These projects include the current Central Terminal Area Expansion Program, High C Gates Modular Construction, Integrated Operations Center, and Department of Public Safety Headquarters.
“This is an exciting time to be a part of DFW Airport’s significant growth plans,” said Chris Arman, HNTB Executive Program Director and Senior Vice President. “Our team is eager to continue collaborating with DFW, airline stakeholder representatives, and our network of subject matter experts to cultivate an unparalleled air passenger experience.”
