After a day of informative meetings held by the Executive Committee, the Education & Workforce Development Committee, the PAC Committee, and the AGC Iowa Foundation, it was time for the Annual Barbecue/Open House. The sponsors for this year's event were Martin Marietta, Merchants Bonding Company, and Jim Hawk Truck Trailers, Inc. These firms provided funds for beverages, barbecue, entertainment, and any other expenses from the event.
AGC of Iowa President Dan Cramer, along with Senior Vice President Tony Vieth, Secretary/Treasurer Mark Freier, and Past President Jeff Koudelka, welcomed the attendees of the event and provided an update on AGC of Iowa activities. A barbecue buffet was offered with ribs, brisket, and all the trimmings, as well as beverages and music.
