A licensed Architect, Boyd brings more than 30 years of nationwide industry experience connecting clients and teams. His designs have helped create facilities that enhance both athletic performance and fan engagement and reflect the value sports bring to participants and communities.
“I love learning about people and their stories and using those stories to inform the vision for a sports or recreation facility,” Boyd said. “When we design spaces that connect to the vision of users, we’re delivering our greatest value."
Boyd is actively involved with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and serves as AIA Iowa Co-Chair of the 2021 AIA Architecture Convention Planning Committee. Boyd is involved in youth sports coaching, career mentoring, and regularly shares key insights in innovation, performance, and design at local, regional, and national sports and recreation conferences.
