NEW YORK, NY — WSP in the U.S., a professional services firm, welcomes two industry leaders as Regional Executives to enhance continued growth across New York Metro and New England. Jack Schiavone now serves as New England Regional Executive, based in Rhode Island. He previously led WSP Global’s industrial sector. Tom Scerbo, AIA, arrives at WSP with more than 25 years of architecture and infrastructure experience and now serves as New York Metro Regional Executive. He is based in New York.
Both join WSP’s U.S. executive leadership team. Schiavone and Scerbo lead growth, strategy deployment, client engagement, performance management, and cross-collaboration across WSP business lines and sectors in their respective regions.

With 25 years of service with WSP Global and WSP in the U.S. in various leadership positions, Schiavone is positioned to share his global expertise and ideas with clients throughout New England. Prior to WSP’s acquisition of John Wood Group’s environment and infrastructure business, Schiavone led its industrial sector.
Schiavone is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He spent the first part of his career inside environmental and risk management programs at two large multinational industrial corporations.

Scerbo joins WSP after holding senior executive roles at other architecture-engineering-construction firms, overseeing major transportation, buildings, resiliency, and civic projects across the Northeast.
He has led large integrated teams delivering aviation terminals, transit centers, federal facilities, climate‑resilient waterfront infrastructure, and major public-private partnership developments. His leadership spans strategy, business development, large‑scale program oversight, and advancement of digital and collaborative project delivery practices.
Scerbo is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, and Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation with a master’s degree in advanced architectural design. A member of numerous industry organizations, he currently serves as President of the Society of American Military Engineers, New York City Post; and Board Advisor for Columbia University’s Center for Buildings, Infrastructure, and Public Space.
