MORRISVILLE, VT — Colleagues, friends, and family recently gathered to celebrate 40 years of construction by the Morrisville, Vermont-based builder Donald P. Blake Jr. Inc. (DBI). The Associated General Contractors of Vermont (AGC-VT) attended the celebration of DBI’s anniversary at their Morrisville headquarters.
Founded in 1985, DBI offers residential and commercial contracting services to Vermonters in the Lamoille County area. In both 2019 and 2023, DBI won AGC-VT's Best Builder Awards, which recognize statewide excellence in construction. DBI’s Founder, Donnie Blake, served as AGC-VT’s Board President in 2019.
“Success for one of our members means success for all of Vermont’s construction industry — and for all of Vermont,” AGC-VT Executive Vice President Richard Wobby said. “Donnie Blake — and what he has built with DBI over the last four decades — represents the best of us.”
DBI has its sights set on the future, cultivating young talent and leadership in Lead Project Manager and Owner Travis Cutler and Lead Estimator Owner Jonathan Blake.
