Terramac, a leading manufacturer of innovative rubber track crawler carriers, displayed four new models at the Utility Expo in September.

The Terramac RT7U was on display with a Terex 4047 digger derrick, providing an all-in-one tool to dig holes, set utility poles, lift heavy equipment or line workers to perform maintenance on distribution lines. The compact size of the carrier allows the unit to access even the tightest areas.

Terramac’s robust RT9U with a Versalift 9500 aerial lift was also showcased. This powerful combination provides a 100-foot working height for contractors working across challenging ground conditions. The two-person platform contributes to safety and efficiency.

When the Terramac RT9 is paired with a hooklift the hauling options are endless. On display was a flatbed, however, the hooklift hoist system allows the change of bed styles and support equipment quickly and easily. All controls are operated from the cab adding to the safety of this versatile unit.

Terramac also had a RT9U with Versalift 4060 digger derrick on display in the Versalift booth. This unit is capable of tackling distribution work in addition to transmission lines.

Terramac units are known for their innovative rubber track technology and low ground pressure enabling them to overcome challenges in reaching remote or difficult terrains.
