Zuba brings more than 20 years of experience in school facility planning, having completed more than 20 master plans and long-range facility plans including collaboration with SLAM on Groton Public School and the firm’s current Master Plans for PreK-12 public schools in Waterbury, New Haven, and Stamford.
His background in planning includes the completion of more than 30 redistricting plans and enrollment projections for public schools throughout New England, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. Zuba will augment SLAM’s service offerings with his experience and expertise in city planning, which includes land use planning, public outreach, geographic information systems analysis and asset management, demographic modeling, spatial analysis, and zoning analysis.

Zuba holds a Master of Science in environmental science from the University of New Haven. He is a current member of the North American Planning Association (APA) and holds national licensure through the APA’s American Institute of Certified Planners as well as public outreach certifications from the National Charette Institute.

Throughout his career, Zuba has been a presenter and panelist at several American Planning Association Conferences. He has also presented on master planning at AIA Connecticut School Construction Coalition Symposiums.
