Sheffy established Network Interiors as a certified woman-owned business. An open merit shop, the company has grown over three decades from a start-up to its current size of nearly 50 employees, many of whom are long-term and multi-generation. Sheffy’s commitment to her employees led her to expand the business, first by becoming licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and later by establishing Network Framing Solutions to produce prefabricated metal components and assemblies.
Network Interiors is the only metal framing and drywall contractor in Connecticut with the ability to integrate off-site prefabrication with on-site installation. The new Network brand aligns both companies with a modern identity.
Construction is a labor-intensive industry with fewer young people entering the field. Network Interiors offers in-house training and apprentice programs to prepare the next generation of carpenters with skills to advance their careers and the profession.
“At Network, we are laser-focused on our customers, projects, mission, and supporting our exemplary team,” Sheffy said. “We look forward to building on our 30 years of accomplishments to achieve even greater success in the future.”
