BOSTON, MA — Renée Lanza, PE, joins GEI Consultants as Senior Consultant. Lanza brings more than 12 years of project experience enhancing water system resiliency, improving water quality, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
“Renée brings a remarkable, client-focused approach to delivering water projects,” said Troy Naperala, Vice President of Water Resources at GEI. “She has extensive experience guiding clients through project planning and execution. At GEI, Renée will focus on aligning clients’ goals with evolving regulatory requirements and available funding mechanisms to ensure compliance and financial sustainability.”
Lanza's expertise includes managing and providing technical support for complex projects such as the design and construction of new water treatment facilities, lead service line inventory and replacement programs, and water system planning. She works regularly with clients to develop project funding plans and with state and federal agencies for funding administration and program compliance.

Lanza holds a Master of Business Administration with a sustainability focus from Yale School of Management, a Master of Science in civil engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering, both from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She has received numerous awards including the American Water Works Association’s 5 Under 35 Outstanding Young Professionals Award.
