As COO, Grabowski will coordinate the daily operations of Tighe & Bond’s 12 offices, focused on project delivery, quality management, and resource allocation; as CRO he will provide oversight of the firm’s professional liability matters and be actively involved in overall enterprise risk management. Grabowski will assume these roles from his predecessor, Bill Hardy, PE, who will remain Building Services Business Line Leader for the firm’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and GIS engineering teams.
To maintain continuity in leadership, the firm named Vice President Tiffany Labrie, PE, CDT to become the next Water Business Line Leader. Labrie is a Civil and Environmental Engineer specializing in water and wastewater conveyance and treatment. She has led significant projects and successful teams within the Water Business Line for almost two decades and is currently a member of the firm’s Board of Directors.
Additionally, Vice President Chris Bone, PE will take on the newly formed role of Design Manager, where he will advance the firm’s use of technology in project delivery, standardize quality and design, head the project review program, and oversee Communities of Practice. Bone’s expertise in engineering both new — and challenging upgrades to existing — water and wastewater facilities through innovative and cost-effective solutions will be an asset in his new role.
Vice President Ian Catlow, PE will succeed Chris Bone as a Technical Director of the business line. His experience in the planning, design, and construction oversight of wastewater and stormwater systems gives him insight into practical engineering solutions that will be instrumental in his oversight of successful project delivery.
