He will be supporting and collaborating with VLK’s principals, architects, and design teams in a variety of market sectors and on project types such as commercial, municipal, hospitality, mixed-use, and adaptive re-use projects. In addition, former Antenora staff members, James Garza and James Amos will also join VLK as part of the team.
“VLK is always looking to add top level talent to our firm in all practice areas,” said Sloan Harris, VLK CEO/Partner. “Antenora Architects brings a vast amount of commercial project knowledge and expertise that will add nicely to VLK’s portfolio and strengthen our ability to continue building momentum in our commercial practice.”
Founded in 1997, Antenora Architects' work is based upon the belief that architecture should be responsive to the needs, aspirations, and culture of the people who use and occupy the building, but also that the building is contextually appropriate for the site, the region, and the broader community in which the building resides.
“Architecture is 95 percent about people and 5 percent about buildings,” Antenora said.
