Flint Joins LAN as Senior Project Manager for Municipal Group

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Brett Flint, PE, has joined planning, engineering, and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN). Based in the Corpus Christi, Texas, office, Flint will serve as Senior Project Manager for the municipal group. With more than 30 years of experience in design construction, management, environmental assessment, remediation, and quality management roles, Flint will oversee construction and maintenance projects of port and coastal structures.

With a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Utah and as a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, Flint’s previous roles include Chief of Program Management, Planning, and Design at the Port of Corpus Christi and Senior Program Manager for Del Mar Community College Bond Project. He also managed substantial projects such as the design and construction of the new Del Mar College Oso Creek Campus and the planning and design of critical coastal protection systems following Hurricane Harvey.

Flint has expertise in Section 404 and 10 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permitting, as well as his extensive work with embankments, channels, dams, and heavy civil construction projects.

In addition to his technical skills, Flint shares his knowledge by teaching construction and engineering courses at Del Mar Community College.
