Reed joins Jeffrey Vogler, P.E., Erik Spencer, P.E., and Ryan Vogler, P.E. as Partners of Vogler & Spencer Engineering. Reed has been on the VSE team for the past eight years.
Reed graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a minor in business management and joined the firm in 2014. Reed has experience as an engineer serving Municipal Utility Districts in the greater Houston area. He has spent his career working with established districts to create solutions to aging infrastructure, and he has a passion for working with water and wastewater facilities.
Reed is a member of the West Houston Association (WHA), serving on the Sustainable Infrastructure and Water Resources committees and completing their Rising Leader’s course in 2021. He received the Compass award in 2022 for outstanding work at the 2022 WHA TopGolf Tournament.
Reed is currently enrolled in the American Council of Engineering Companies' (ACEC) Emerging Leaders Program, class of 2022-2023. This program imparts specific skills and competencies that top ACEC/MA CEOs identify as critical for leadership success.
Vogler & Spencer Engineering, Inc. also wants to congratulate Jeanette Esquivel on being promoted to Marketing Manager and Mike Rodriguez to Project Representative Supervisor. As VSE expands, so do the roles.
Esquivel has been with VSE since 2020. She now manages an in-house marketing team of two. She is currently the Member Director for the Society for Marketing Professionals Houston Chapter and the winner of a digital campaign for their Design Awards. She has expertise in branding, event coordinating, proposals, and networking skills.
Secondly, Rodriguez has been part of the VSE family for 23 years. He now leads a team of three inspectors off-site, ensuring development and technical ability are up to par with the county, city, and state regulations. His goal with this new position is to create a welcoming and family-oriented environment for his next successor.
Vogler & Spencer Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1978, primarily providing engineering services to specialty districts and developers. Today, VSE is well-established in district engineering, as well as design engineering for roadways and highways; hydraulics and hydrology studies; stormwater collection and detention systems; water supply treatment and distribution systems; wastewater collection; treatment systems; and construction administration.
