LEWISVILLE, TX — McAdams announces the promotion of Ryan Akers to Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Lead, positioning the firm for continued growth across North Texas. Former Metro Lead, Bobby Dollak, will transition to the role of Principal.
The announcement reflects McAdams’ long-term investment in North Texas, where the firm continues to expand its team, capabilities, and project portfolio to meet growing demand across its core sectors, including K-12, higher education, residential, mixed-use, municipal, health care, industrial, and energy.
“Dallas-Fort Worth remains one of the most dynamic development markets in the country, and Ryan is the right leader for our next phase of growth here,” said Mike Munn, President and CEO of McAdams. “He brings a deep understanding of the North Texas market, a strong operational mindset, and a client-first approach that reflect everything McAdams stands for in how we serve communities and development partners, and he'll be instrumental in continuing to build our multidisciplinary platform across the region."
Akers, who previously served as Director of Engineering, brings more than two decades of experience in civil engineering, land development, and operational leadership, including a background in complex residential, mixed-use, and infrastructure projects. In his new role, Akers will oversee McAdams’ operations and strategic growth throughout DFW, with a focus on strengthening client relationships, expanding multidisciplinary service offerings, and enhancing McAdams’ footprint across various North Texas independent school districts (ISD), along with its locally based transportation, water resources, and energy capabilities to meet the infrastructure and utility needs of the rapidly growing North Texas region.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to continue growing alongside our clients and build on the incredibly strong North Texas foundation McAdams has established,” Akers said. “We’ve assembled an exceptional team and intend to continue investing in the people, systems, and capabilities needed to support the evolving needs of North Texas clients while delivering the high-quality service, accountability, and technical expertise that define the McAdams experience.”
