“Our electric cooperative clients in East Texas display their dedication to their membership with the high level of service that they provide,” said Logan Thompson, Tyler SUS Department Manager. “Establishing a permanent POWER location allows us to show our dedication and positions us to continue serving our East Texas Cooperative clients well for many years to come.”
The office presently holds 10 full-time employees, with plans to expand over the coming years. POWER has nearly 550 team members across six Texas locations, with Fort Worth being the largest. Tyler will be the company’s seventh location in the state.
Though the permanent office may be new, POWER’s connections to the community are already strong. Several team members have worked in the area for years, thanks to POWER’s hybrid work model. And in 2022, the POWER Foundation, an associated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, donated $15,000 to the nearby Alba-Golden High School for a computer lab to support students’ pursuit of IT, cybersecurity, and computer science certifications.
