DALLAS, TX — Cadence McShane Construction Company and their joint venture partner, Morales Construction, announce the completion of Trinidad “Trini” Garza Early College High School Building Z for Dallas College.
“This early-college center represents more than a completed project but also an investment into spaces that empower both students and educators,” said Wade Wimbish, Vice President of Education at Cadence McShane. “We’re proud to deliver a facility that reflects the vision of Dallas College and supports learning and innovation for generations to come.”
Delivered in partnership with BRW Architects, the early college center was designed to provide early-college curriculum to high school students. The two-story building was constructed on an occupied college campus, offering an additional 45,000 square feet of space.
Key features include a prominent entry, large commons area with creek views, flexible collaboration and learning spaces, and STEM labs. There are also food service areas, outdoor classrooms and terraces, and an administrative suite and support center.
As part of the project, Cadence McShane and Morales completed a parking area as well as pedestrian pathways that connect the new building to the existing Dallas College Mountain View campus.
