MANSFIELD, TX — Source Building Group, Inc. announces key additions to its leadership through promotions and new members, with the goal to position the company for strategic growth and development now and into the future.
Chet Farnsworth has been promoted to Vice President of Preconstruction Services, Abed Kaaki has been promoted to Senior Project Manager, and Pete Valdez has an increased role as General Superintendent. The firm is investing in and onboarding new talent with the additions of Herb Reed as Vice President of Operations and Shawn Sinnie as Marketing Manager. All five leaders bring expertise and experience in their prospective fields and will be instrumental in shaping the foundation for Source Building Group, Inc., moving forward.
With more than 40 years of experience within the construction industry, Farnsworth has led and played integral roles in project management, estimating, and operations throughout his career while also leading successful negotiations with trade partners across numerous projects. Attributing his professional growth to the mentorship and knowledge of others, Farnsworth has been exposed to several market sectors. He has led projects across a multitude of markets including aviation, multifamily, mass transit and transportation, hospitality, infrastructure, government, retail, and educational institutions.
In his new role, he will continue to be a central figure in business development ventures, client management, estimating, and team building efforts.
Kaaki is a Senior Project Manager with over eight years of experience leading commercial construction projects from concept to completion. Known for his strategic approach, attention to detail, and leadership, Kaaki has demonstrated an understanding of budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and team coordination, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high quality standards. He has worked closely with architects, engineers, trade partners, and stakeholders to bring complex visions to life, often navigating tight deadlines and regulatory challenges.

As an experienced commercial construction industry professional, Valdez has been at the forefront of several high-profile projects. Described as a hands-on General Superintendent bringing over 25 years of experience, Valdez is known for his leadership, precision, and commitment to delivering complex projects on time and within budget. His understanding of project sequencing, scheduling, and field operations makes him an asset on job sites across the region. He aims to bring a proactive, solution-oriented approach to every phase of construction.
Reed joins the company as Vice President Operations. He will lead all construction operations for Source Building Group, Inc., streamlining processes and procedures to ensure timely project completion and be a point of contact in the communication process with vendors and clients. Reed brings more than two decades of experience in construction management, planning, project management, and operations across a wide range of market sectors. He has led the completion of numerous projects across Texas.

Additionally, Sinnie works with company stakeholders to enhance brand presence and deliver artistic solutions to showcase brands proficiently.
