American Constructors Clay Shoot Raises $110,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area

AUSTIN, TX — American Constructors and its sponsors donated $110,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (BGCAA) at the company’s 13th Annual Charity Clay Shoot. With over 250 participants and volunteers, this event was one of the largest turnouts to date, helping bring the total donations to over $850,000 since the inaugural Clay Shoot in 2012.

American Constructors has been a longtime advocate for the Boys & Girls Clubs, dating back to company founder Bill Heine’s involvement with the organization more than four decades ago. Over the past 40 years, the American Constructors family of companies and employees have donated more than $2 million to the Boys & Girls Clubs.

“The Clay Shoot is one of our most treasured company traditions, and it was inspiring to see so many partners, friends, and clients come together to champion the mission of BGCAA,” said Marty Burger, Chief Executive Officer of American Constructors. “Our company was founded on the belief that we should leave Central Texas better than we found it, and supporting the life-changing work of the Boys & Girls Clubs is one meaningful way we can do that. We’re grateful to all our sponsors who made this event possible.”

Since 1967, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area has equipped young people with skills, such as building character, leadership, academic success, healthy habits, and workforce readiness. With 25 club locations throughout the Austin area, they provide programs for kids and teens ages 5 to 18. Each year, more than 10,000 youth engage with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, including over 5,000 registered members.

In addition to the annual Clay Shoot, the American Constructors Foundation continues its collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area through direct donations and a variety of event sponsorships throughout the year.
