HOUSTON, TX — Eliza Paul, PE, joins HNTB as a Project Director bringing 37 years of transportation engineering, planning, highway design, and project management experience. Her career includes more than three decades with the Texas Department of Transportation, where she last served as the District Engineer of the Houston District.
“Eliza brings an impressive record of achievements and proven leadership experience to help take our transportation practice to the next level,” said Russ Poppe, HNTB’s Houston Office Leader and Vice President. “Her deep understanding of the Texas transportation network and long tenure with TxDOT will be invaluable to our clients and the successful delivery of complex projects across the region.”
In her new role, Paul will lead significant transportation infrastructure projects for clients throughout the region, driving the advancement of large-scale initiatives aimed at enhancing mobility. This entails overseeing all aspects of the project life cycle, from scope development to cost and quality control and project management.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the Imperial College London and a Master of Science in civil engineering from the University of Houston-University Park. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
